Every spring for almost 100 years musicians from all over the United States have gathered in the foothills of North Carolina at Fiddler's Grove. They come to play traditional old-time music and to compete for the annual Fiddling championship. In 1994, the three-day event was documented for public television. FIDDLER's GROVE: A Celebration of Old-Time Music tells the story of the festival's legendary Van Hoy family and features hundreds of traditional tunes played by musicians young and old.
