Fiddler Paddy Glackin heads up a stellar new trio in Irish music that features the talents of Belfast cellist & uilleann piper Neil Martin and the County Tyrone born pianist Ryan Molloy. 
 
Among the most accomplished fiddle players of his generation Paddy Glackin acknowledges the influence of musicians like John Doherty, Tommie Potts, Padraig O’ Keefe among others as helping shape his own musical imagination. Paddy has been part of many line-ups and was a founding member of The Bothy Band, along with solo releases he has recorded duet albums with pipers Paddy Keenan and Robbie Hannan and formed a close working relationship master piper Liam O’Flynn with whom he performed for many years. Along with Donal Lunny, Andy Irvine, Mike McGoldrick and John Doyle, Paddy is a member of the band Usher’s Island.
 
Neil Martin is a composer and performer whose deep knowledge and understanding of traditional music informs his own compositions. As a cello player he forms part of the popular West Ocean String Quartet who have recorded fine albums. Neil regularly performs with Paddy Glackin. 
 
Piano player Ryan Molloy is in great demand as an accompanist having recorded over a dozen album. His repertoire spans different genres from traditional Irish music to contemporary classical music.Ryan is currently a lecturer in composition at Maynooth University having studied previously at the University of Oxford and Queen’s University Belfast.
